Moving on to less major work. Switches, sensors, wiring, kickstands. Getting started on fixing mechanical issues. Cracked carburetor vent tubes, leaking gaskets, and the endless surprises found when u buy a 35 year old motorcycle.

CX500 - Weekly Update
Moved on to the seat this week. I always wanted to try making a fiberglass seat pan, to compare the time and effort spent against the metal version. So with a little cardboard and some smellyness, I pulled it off. I machined up some billet spacers and made some mounts so that the pan could be rubber mounted. So far so good.

CX500 - WEEKLY UPDATE
So still building in the recycling my old stuff mode, I built a tail section from an old fender, some rod I can't remember the source of,and some sheet metal that I used to use for a mini wlding table. I also came up with a mount for the tag, peace style.
